Blanc Pignon
Blanc Pignon is a family house and farm in Jersey. The property has a rich history but over the past decade the gardens have become overgrown and in desperate need of care. The client has also asked our company to put together a new team for the gardens and to create a long term plan for the property that combines, garden, education, and tourism.
There was a lot of logistics involved with moving one and a half ton stones from Ronez quarry into the site and finally into their final resting place.
The pond and stream too were an amazing experience with using puddling clay as opposed to traditional plastic or fiberglass liners.
This was an adventurous and wonderful journey with the construction of the garden almost complete!
We have been asked to put together a redesign for the project that combines the aesthetic beauty of the site with its surroundings and a design that also gives the site a real direction and purpose.
The gardens have the potential to be part of the islands long term plan of making jersey a more interesting place for visitors and for islanders.
The design work has been ongoing for 12 months now and has reached completion. The groundworks are to begin at the start of 2026 and it is estimated to be completed by 2028.
